The name alone says it all: this paper symbolises the company’s tradition to produce classic artist papers in perfection. The artist paper, made of pure cotton is unsized and – consequently – extremely absorbent. The satin-finish makes for a particularly smooth surface. With a weight of 300gsm, Hahnemühle 1584 is firm and hard-wearing while the cotton fibres provide flexibility at the same time. Four deckle edges and a watermark complete this high quality paper. Hahnemühle 1584 is particularly well suited for woodcut and silkscreen. Even in the case of multi-layer applications, colours are absorbed extremely well.
Without optical brighteners, acid-free, unsized and alkaline reserved it meets the highest ISO 9706 longevity standards.

The FineArt inkjet paper’s base impresses with its bright white natural tone, and thanks to the bright white colour of the hemp fibres, no optical brighteners are required. The lightly textured surface gives the paper a pleasant, silky feel. Combined with the matt premium inkjet coating, this is a truly versatile FineArt inkjet paper. Colours and details are brilliantly reproduced, the depth of the black truly stands out and contrasts are reproduced with stunning effect.
Linen Album Cover Set Sand Grey
The Hahnemühle photo album features a high-quality linen cover and has been quality-manufactured in Germany with great attention to detail. Linen is a natural fibre whose properties make the photo album wear-resistant, dirt-repellent, and long-lasting. To protect the prints, the cover set comes with front and back paper and 2 sheets of interleaf paper. The linen album is bound with two screws and allows a variable expansion of up to 40 fine art prints. The cover set comes fully equipped and ready-to-use with a set of Hahnemühle gloves and a special Hahnemühle multitool to allow for easy set-up and presentation. The cover set is available in two neutral colours – black and light sand grey.
